The Arts Factory was founded in 2018 by award-winning teacher and artist educator Lynn Hutchison, with a belief that high-quality art education should be for everyone.

​

With over 25 years’ experience in education, Lynn has taught art extensively across London and worked with a wide range of artists, galleries and arts organisations.

​

We believe making art matters at every age. It builds confidence, encourages creative thinking and gives people the freedom to experiment, take risks and develop their own ideas. For adults, it also offers valuable time to slow down, switch off and reconnect with creativity.

Through skilled teaching and carefully planned, inspiring projects, we help every learner — whatever their age, ability or experience — develop their skills and create work they feel genuinely proud of.

No “I’m not artistic” required.

We run art clubs, courses and workshops for kids, teens and adults in and around Dulwich from age six upwards.

Our tutors all have backgrounds in the arts and continue to pursue their own creative practice.
