So lovely to meet these newbies in West 16th Cafe today. ❤️ this cafe, ❤️ the staff, ❤️ the delicious coffee & ❤️my new crew of artists. Such a great way to spend a Tuesday morning. How I missed it over the summer holidays.

Here are our charcoal interpretations of landscape photos after looking at some of Van Gogh's ink drawings and Erin Hanson's open impressionism paintings.

All our artists had not done any artwork since they were at school. They 💥 it!

We’re looking forward to the return of Paint in the Pub this Thursday 🎨🍷

For our first evening, we’re taking a fresh look at still life—drawing inspiration from the wonderfully bold work of Natalie Savage, amongst others.

Expect unexpected colour combinations, strong shapes, & lively patterns. A relaxed evening to step away from the usual routine, have a drink and lose yourself in painting for a couple of hours.

Come with a friend or on your own. No previous experience needed.

What a joy to have the kids and teens back in action this week. What a great first session we had with our teens drawing tilted portraits. In the past we have done full frontal portraits so we thought we would see what happened to the facial proportions from different angles. As usual, they smashed it- they seem to soak up the teaching points with ease and seem to demonstrate the taught skills effortlessly in their drawings.

Am always in awe of their talents.
