At The Arts Factory we provide an outlet for your child's creativity to blossom during school holidays. We run holiday club sessions during half terms, Easter and Summer holidays for any child with an interest in art.
In our inspiring, welcoming and carefully crafted workshops we will gently guide, support and encourage your child to create a unique and accomplished piece of artwork. We use a range of top quality art materials, learn or hone new art techniques to create a masterpiece which will be a welcome addition to any art portfolio or gallery of work.
Our venues are located next to open green spaces so the children can, weather permitting, work 'en plein air' or take a break outdoors.

Day of the Dead Skulls:
Paint, Pattern and Decoration
Inspired by the colourful traditions of Mexican Día de los Muertos, transform a 3D polystyrene skull into a striking piece of art.
Plan and paint your own design using vibrant colours, intricate patterns and bold graphic symbols. Decorate it with jewels and embellishments, then create handmade flowers to complete your sculpture.
Choose your own style—from traditional florals and decorative swirls to lightning bolts, flames, stars, spiderwebs and bold street-art-inspired designs.

Painted Pumpkins
Step into the playful and patterned world of Yayoi Kusama. Known as the “Queen of Polka Dots,” Kusama transforms simple shapes into bold, immersive artworks filled with colour, repetition, and imagination. In this workshop, young artists will explore her work painting and printing vibrant patterned pumpkins.

Light Up Halloween:
Witches’ & Wizards’ Hats
Create a spectacular light-up witch or wizard hat—perfect for glowing through the darkness while trick-or-treating or taking part in a Halloween parade!
Children will transform their hat using bright patterned papers, colourful tissue, ribbons, buttons and pom-poms. They can personalise their design with magical stars and moons, spooky bats and spiders, lightning bolts, flames, metallic details and mysterious wizard symbols.
The best bit? We’ll finish each creation with twinkling fairy lights, turning it into a wonderfully wearable Halloween masterpiece that really glows after dark.
