At The Arts Factory we provide an outlet for your child's creativity to blossom during school holidays. We run holiday club sessions during half terms, Easter and Summer holidays for any child with an interest in art.
In our inspiring, welcoming and carefully crafted workshops we will gently guide, support and encourage your child to create a unique and accomplished piece of artwork. We use a range of top quality art materials, learn or hone new art techniques to create a masterpiece which will be a welcome addition to any art portfolio or gallery of work.
Our venues are located next to open green spaces so the children can, weather permitting, work 'en plein air' or take a break outdoors.

A joyful summer art experience in Lettsom Gardens, combining outdoor adventure with high-quality, artist-led creative projects.
Outdoor art adventures with nature, sunshine and plenty of “look what I made!” moments.
Inspired by artists including Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth, Andy Goldsworthy and Anna Atkins, children will explore sculpture, printmaking, drawing, mixed media and natural materials, using the gardens as their studio.
Expect fresh air, big ideas, beautiful materials and imaginative artwork rooted in the natural world.

Clay Mask Making
Design and construct your own expressive clay mask while developing a range of clay-making skills, including shaping, joining, modelling, carving, scoring, adding texture and building up three-dimensional features.
Once the basic mask has been formed, you’ll have complete creative freedom to invent a character of your choice. Your mask could be inspired by Greek mythology, the natural world, fantasy creatures, superheroes, folklore—or something entirely from your own imagination.
A brilliantly imaginative workshop for teenagers who enjoy sculpture, character design and making something bold, unusual and completely unique.

Jigsaw Linoprinting Workshop
Design, carve and print your own bold, colourful artwork using the exciting jigsaw linoprinting technique.
You’ll begin by developing an original design inspired by the things you love.Your image will then be divided into separate shapes, with each piece carved and inked in a different colour before being carefully fitted back together like a jigsaw.
You’ll learn a range of printmaking skills, including simplifying an image, creating positive and negative shapes, safely using lino-cutting tools, mixing and applying printing inks, registering colour and building up a clear, vibrant print.
Once your design is complete, you’ll print it onto paper and create your own unique cotton tote bag to take home.
