Are you looking to explore your artistic skills? Our Adult Art Workshops are perfect for beginners, or those who have not picked up a paintbrush since their school or student days.
Our classes are welcoming & inspiring and look to build confidence as well as gaining new skills or brushing up on old ones. Our workshops provide a supportive & calming space in carefully chosen venues around in East Dulwich and Herne Hill. . A perfect way to carve out a few hours for yourself to boost well-being personal growth.

MIXED MEDIA COURSE
SUMMER UNFOLDING

A mindful and inspiring mixed media course celebrating the colours, textures, and energy of summer.
Perfect if you’d like to try something creative but aren’t sure where to start, this course is all about exploration and experimentation — no pressure, no expectations.
Across the sessions, you’ll work with a range of materials including drawing media, soft pastels, watercolours, and acrylics. We’ll explore layering, blending, and expressive mark-making to create vibrant, contemporary artwork.
You’ll be guided through simple, enjoyable prompts inspired by summer — from colour and pattern to nature and everyday moments.
Beginner-friendly fully guided session , relaxed, and all materials provided.

SPRING BLOOMS
PAINT AT THE PUB

A bright and colourful workshop exploring spring flowers through observational drawing and expressive mark-making.
Working from reference, you’ll capture shape, line, and composition before building vibrant colour using coloured pencils and oil pastels.
Using layering, blending, and loose, energetic marks, you’ll create a lively floral piece full of movement and energy.
Beginner-friendly, gently guided, and all about letting loose and getting lost in the m — all materials provided.

SUMMER LANDSCAPES

Time: 7.45 pm to 9.45 pm
Cost: £35
Explore colour mixing and expressive paint application in a relaxed, social setting.
Using a mix of brushes and palette knives, you’ll build texture, experiment with bold colour and create a vibrant, contemporary painting inspired by the landscape.
No experience needed — just come along, have a drink and enjoy the process.


LINOPRINTING
PAINT AT THE PUB
When: Thurs 14th May
Time: 7.45 pm to 9.45 pm
Cost: £40
In this workshop, you’ll learn the basics of linocut printing, from creating a simple design to carving your lino block and printing onto a range of quality paper. For those with some experience you can develop your print further to create a two colour print.
Suitable for beginners and those with some experience, this relaxed session is a great chance to experiment, unwind, and leave with a set of unique handmade prints.

PASTEL PORTRAITS
PAINT AT THE PUB
When: Thurs 11th June
Time: 7.45 pm to 9.45 pm
Cost: £35
A relaxed and expressive portrait workshop inspired by French artist Clare Pueo, focusing on colour, mood, and character.
No drawing skills needed — if drawing feels daunting, you’ll be able to trace your portrait so you can focus on building confidence with colour.
Using blending and layering techniques, you’ll learn how to create soft skin tones and depth with oil pastels.
Beginner-friendly, low-pressure, and all materials provided.

ALFRESCO DINING

Inspired by contemporary still life artists including Jane Hooper and Natalie Savage, this relaxed session explores simple, modern compositions of food and table settings.
Working in a simplistic, contemporary style, you’ll focus on bold shapes, fresh colour, and thoughtful composition to create your own artwork.
Beginner-friendly, gently guided, and all about enjoying colour and the process — all materials provided.

COLLAGE
PAINT AT THE PUB

Create your own painted and textured papers, then transform them into a bold, contemporary collage.
This relaxed, hands-on workshop is all about playful exploration — cutting, layering, and combining shapes, colour, and texture to build a striking final piece.
Perfect if you enjoy working intuitively and want to try something a little different.
